Diplo Apologizes To Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber After Feud With Zedd

After dishing out some MAJOR low blows, Diplo finally -- kinda sorta -- apologized to Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber via social media for his uncalled for comments during an epic Twitter battle with Zedd. But is a simple Tweet enough to clear the air after all that went down? Diplo, 37, is finally trying to make nice after starting a wild Twitter feud with fellow music moguls -- including Justin Bieber, 22, and Selena Gomez, 23. From dissing Zedd's newest collab to bringing up Justin's penis -- yes he really went there -- Diplo brought ALL the drama. To clear the air, the DJ posted an apology on his Twitter account, but we have to say, his timing makes it all seem a little half-assed.

“If my airplane crashes I want everyone to know I love them and I didn’t mean to hurt anyone’s feeling yesterday,” Diplo tweeted on March 22 from Paradise, Nevada. But really, Diplo? Right before hopping on an airplane? It seemed as if Diplo was only trying to rid himself of bad karma and wasn’t interested in ACTUALLY apologizing in a genuine manner.

And if that’s the case, the celebs he blasted yesterday definitely deserve a more authentic “sorry.” After all, things escalated quickly after Diplo slammed Zedd and Aloe Blacc’s M&M commercial. “wtf is this? fake flume drop ft m&ms?” he wrote, with a link to the video. “It’s not OK to do this man come on…It’s not all about the [money bags emoji.]” But of course, Zedd wasn’t about to let that diss slide.

“Stop being a jealous little b***h and do us all a favor and just shut the f** up,” Zedd retorted. “Thank you.” In tweets that have since been deleted, Diplo took things a step FURTHER by delivering a major insult. “your young and rich and a great musician,” he began. “Use that to your advantage..Don’t be such a pompous cornball loser also I f***ed your girl.” 

He took it there! And while we can’t say for SURE that Diplo was referring to Selena, she is Zedd‘s only real high-profile relationship, and Diplo has commented on the romance being a “publicity stunt” in the past. And aside from Selena, Justin was also dragged into this Twitter mess when DeadMau5 took Zedd’s side by slamming Diplo for his “Where Are U Now” collaboration with the Biebs. “Unless it’s a bieber collab…Coz that’s in no way, about money,” he wrote. “We all know zedds s**t sucks. But we love him. Literally hopped off Justin’s d**k to say someone’s s**t is about money? God DAMN I love Twitter. I do.”

Crazy right? And cue Justin’s penis entering the convo. And after all of that, Diplo STILL didn’t back down. Commenting right back, “Joel why are u so obsessed with Justin’s wiener?” he wrote. “I can introduce you if you want?” So although Diplo DID finally apologize for reigniting a viscous feud, we’re not so sure he did it with the BEST intentions!
