The last few episodes of ‘The Walking Dead’ season 6 are going to be insane. EP Gale Anne Hurd revealed that not one character is ‘safe’ from getting killed off on the show. Plus, Negan’s arrival is going to change everything.
It’s a brutal world out there for The Walking Dead fans. Season 6 of the show is coming to a close, and EP Gale Anne Hurd teases that any one of our favorite characters could die by the season’s end. Negan’s presence is looming, and we all know what happens in the comics…
More people are likely going to die on The Walking Dead, it’s just a matter of whom. Gale told Us Weekly that “no character is safe.” She added, “It’s a brutal world out there.”
You got that right, Gale! Fans have been thrown for a loop this season. There was that moment we all thought Glenn was dead, and then we lost Jessie and Denise. If you’ve read the comics, you know that Negan kills Glenn, but the producers have different routes for the show before. So, seriously, no one is safe.
Negan has yet to show his face this season, but we know he’s around. Gale says that Negan’s arrival “changes the whole dynamic for everyone on the show.” And don’t expect him to just be a season 6 thing. Negan will be around in season 7, too!
“He’s a completely different kind of character than we’ve had in the past, and honestly, I cannot imagine someone more perfect than Jeffrey Dean Morgan to bring him to life,” Gale said in the interview. “[Negan is] formidable, but he’s incredibly charismatic, and he acknowledges who he is and what he expects of people.”
The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC. Catch up on the show by signing up for Amazon Prime now!
