With Easter only a week away, tensions seem to be rising for one mall Easter bunny. In multiple videos posted March 20 on Twitter, a Newport Mall in Jersey City, had quite the showdown between an Easter bunny and customers.
What was supposed to be a fun experience for kiddies, turned into a violent scene at a NJ mall. While customers were waiting to get their picture taken with the Easter bunny, a brutal brawl wound up unfolding in front of tons of innocent kids. The man who was playing the part of the happy bunny, can be seen in multiple videos ripping off his bunny gloves and throwing punches at a customer. But, this customer reportedly started the fight with the floppy-eared character, which needed to be tamed by mall security. They had to jump in to get the crazy brawl under control before it could escalate into a holiday mess.
City spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill told the press that the 22-year-old man who was working as the Easter Bunny, said the father of a one-year-old child verbally and then physically attacked him after the young girl slipped from the chair after her photo.

As of right now, no charges have been filed, according to ABC 7, as detectives are continuing to investigate and speak with witnesses to figure out who exactly initiated this massive fight. Both the father and the Easter Bunny, were taken to the JCMC-Barnabas Health for minor injuries.
