Apple unveiled their new iPhone SE and iPad Pro during the Apple Event on March 21, and for once, fans were NOT impressed. Upon hearing that the new gadgets are SMALLER than previous models, the public took to Twitter to cleverly reveal their disappointment in the brand!
Apparently size really DOES matter! After Apple announced that their newest smartphone, the iPhone SE, is — in short — an iPhone 6s in the body of an iPhone 5s, and that their newest iPad will now be smaller too, the company has received MAJOR backlash. Not only have fans claimed the tech giant has lost its creativity, but also that Apple has taken one giant leap back in time. You have GOT to see the hilarious Tweets insulting the iconic company.
Apple completely disappointed many of its fans on March 21 during the much-anticipated Apple Event, which unveiled all of the tech company’s latest and greatest gadgets. Why? Well, for some people, Apple’s newest gizmos are anything BUT new and improved. In fact, some even argued that Apple has simply repackaged the iPhone 6s into an older iPhone model — making their newest smartphone, set to hit stores on March 31, nothing truly special.
The iPhone SE features a four-inch screen, which, compared to the iPhone 6 Plus’ five-and-a-half-inch display, is significantly smaller than what many iPhone users have become accustomed to. And while the latest iPad boasted a screen of 12.9 inches, the newest version, unveiled today, features a 9.7-inch screen. But is bigger really better? Apple fans sure seem to think so and they were NOT shy about sharing their reactions to Apple’s smaller phone on social media.
The #AppleEvent be like
2012: A bigger screen
2013: A bigger screen
2014: AN EVEN BIGGER SCREEN
2016: A smaller screen 😎

I’m not feeling smaller phones. Though it might be better for others. I like them big. #AppleEvent

Pretty hilarious, right? But only time will tell if the new iPhone and iPad will be a hit or a miss. Smaller or not, apple still produces some of the most high-quality, technologically advanced products to date so we’re sure sooner or later people will hop on their ever-evolving bandwagon. Come on people, change is good!
What do you think of Apple’s latest iPhone, HollywoodLifers? Is bigger truly better?
