What do O.J. Simpson and Kanye West have in common? Well, everyone is talking about them. Funny Or Die just released ‘The People V. Kanye West,’ which is an epic spoof on all the crazy antics of Kanye’s life, mashed together with the drama behind the O.J. Simpson case.
Kanye West, 38, lives a life that’s just a few degrees of separation from the real world, as we all know. In a new parody, the nuttiest elements of Kanye’s existence come together with the events of the O.J. Simpson trial, and it is everything. WATCH!
Here are some of the highlights: Kanye’s “I just told you who I thought I was: a god” interview is included, naturally, as well as his VMAs beef and consequential feud with Taylor Swift. Then there’s Kanye’s intense hatred for the paparazzi, O.J.’s sucide note replaced with a letter “written” by Kanye in crayon with the lyrics of his song “I Love Kanye”, and last but not least, we see Rob Kardashian and Robert Shapiro running out seeing a naked Kim Kardashian straddling Kanye in the “Bound 2” video. Dead.
Watch the video below:
Kanye has, of course, made the official list of the 30 Most Influential People on the Internet, and this online spoof just reiterates that Kanye and the black hole of the Internet go hand in hand. He has a love/hate relationship with the blogosphere, but what would we do with out his wild Twitter rants and crazy announcements about going broke? As long as Kanye keeps putting himself out there, geniuses like the ones over at Funny or Die will keep making fun of him. It’s almost too easy, don’t you think?
HollywoodLifers, what do you think of this parody? Tell us which part made you LOL!
