Mark Hamill will always be Luke Skywalker, but does Luke have children? Could Leie be an aunt? Well in this new tweet, Mark may or may not have hinted at that.
Warning: if you somehow have not yet seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens and somehow don’t know the storyline, don’t click in! Spoilers ahead!

“Happiest of Birthdays to the Finn-tastic @JohnBoyega a swell fella who’s just sonsational in #EP8 Hmmm-Typo or spoiler? YOU decide! #Troll,” Mark Hamill wrote on Twitter. So, no, it’s not looking like Finn is really his son, because well, HOW?! Of course, it’s possible but he totally wouldn’t give it away if it were. We know how strict Disney is about spoilers!
Mark has definitely been vocal about his character in the past, and since Episode VII ended on with such an open ending — Rey heading on an adventure to find him and we only got about a 30-second glance at him. Mark also had people talking just a few weeks ago when he spoke out about Luke’s sexuality.
“Fans are writing and ask all these questions, ‘I’m bullied in school…I’m afraid to come out’. They say to me, ‘Could Luke be gay?’ I’d say it is meant to be interpreted by the viewer,” Mark told The Sun. “If you think Luke is gay, of course he is. You should not be ashamed of it. Judge Luke by his character, not by who he loves.”
J.J. Abrams, the director of The Force Awakens, is also completely open to the idea of a gay character in Star Wars. “It seems insanely narrow-minded to say that there wouldn’t be a homosexual character in [the Star Wars] world,” he said at the US-Ireland Alliance Oscar Wilde Awards (via EW).
So, do you think Luke Skywalker could be Finn’s dad, HollywoodLifers?
