The Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla brought his brand of pro-wrestling goodness to The Weather Network on March 17. While he didn’t have to worry about fighting The Rock, 43, or Triple H, 46, Jericho had his hands full with partial cloud coverage over Tampa. Oh no!
“I’ve always wanted to be a weatherman and today is the greatest day in my life,” Chris said before delivering his forecast. Chris also treated viewers by dropping some personal stories during the forecast. When talking about Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Chris said it was “one of my favorite places in the world – great Applebee’s there.” Be sure to blast Chris’s music when you’re on the way to Applebee’s by signing up for unlimited and ad-free music here.
Overall, Chris did a pretty good job! He even did the weather for Mars! Amazing! Chris also brought a bit of heavy metal flair to the broadcast. Chris, the lead singer of Fozzy, was given some weather terms that could be used as band names. When asked what kind of group would use “Mesoscale Vortex” as a name, Chris said, “That would have to be a prog-rock band. I’m seeing all the guys with skullets, big beards and capes.”
Though Chris said he was living a boyhood dream of being a weatherman, he actually crashed a Phoenix forecast in 2014, according to Cageside Seats. Perhaps this time was special because he was actually invited? Hopefully he got everyone at The Weather Network tickets to see him at WrestleMania 32, which takes place on April 3.
