If Adele pulled you on stage during one of her shows you would probably freak out, right? Okay, but what if she pulled you on stage right after the love of your life had proposed to you while the iconic singer belted out your song? You would totally lose it, and that’s what went down with this sweet couple at Adele’s show on Tuesday night, March 15 in London, England.
“Come up here you two,” Adele said to the couple over the mic before she even finished the song she was performing, “Make You Feel My Love.” Then she asked, “Are they coming? Did you just get engaged? Oh, God! I thought there was a fight at first.” Nope, no fight here, Adele — just pure love!
Once the newly engaged couple stepped up to the stage Adele gave them big hugs, and then had the gigantic screen behind her turned on so everyone could see the couple and the girl’s gorgeous engagement ring. That’s how you do it!
Adele went on to ask how long they had been together, and the girl revealed it had been 12 and a half years! The crowd laughed, and then they shared with Adele that they had a baby boy together named Alfred. So sweet!
Even though the couple’s lives were changed forever after that special moment, it was Adele who was truly in awe of their commitment. “That was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever witnessed at one of my shows. Thank you so much for doing that,” she told them right before they stepped back into the audience. Aw!
