JoJo Fletcher will serve as the next Bachelorette after having her heart broken by Ben Higgins in the Bachelor finale! She’s reportedly taking the place of producers’ original choice, Caila Quinn, so of course, we’ve been DYING to know how Caila feels about being dumped by ABC for the job. Luckily, she took to Twitter to share her reaction!

It was rumored that Caila had even already started filming scenes for the upcoming season, and if that’s the case, we can imagine it’d be a major low blow to be told she was being replaced. But Caila handled JoJo’s announcement and Ben’s engagement to Lauren Bushnell with class.
“Congratulations to these beautiful girls!” she captioned an adorable photo of herself with the ladies, in which they’re all flashing huge smiles. “Sending love as the journey isn’t over, it’s only jut beginning.” ABC hasn’t confirmed whether or not Caila was the original choice, but JoJo has been a clear fan favorite throughout this season, so it’s definitely not a surprise that she’d be a hot commodity as the next Bachelorette. Caila was dumped by Ben after the Fantasy Suite date, leaving Lauren and JoJo as the final two. Ben shockingly told both ladies he loved them, but in the end, it was Lauren who he got down on one knee for. JoJo held her head high after the rejection and during the After The Final Rose ceremony — and now she’ll get to start the journey herself!
Meanwhile, Lauren and Ben seem happier than ever now that they’re finally able to be out in public as a couple. The lovebirds have said they’re excited to get back to a “normal” life together, with Lauren moving to Denver to be with her man. Oh, and they said a wedding is coming “soon,” so stay tuned!
What do you think of JoJo being The Bachelorette, HollywoodLifers? DO you think Caila would’ve been a better choice?
