Is a sibling rivalry brewing between Nick and Aaron Carter? In a new interview, the younger of the Carter brothers brings up their past and slams Nick for ‘leaving’ their family behind.
Aaron Carter, 28, just put his big brother, Nick, 36, on blast for what he allegedly did when he became a huge star at the age of 18 years old. The “Fools Gold” singer spoke openly about his financial troubles and how his family contributed to them when he was younger, revealing that Nick wasn’t much help back then.

Well, this is weird. In a revealing new interview about his support for Donald Trump, sing Aaron Carter went off about his childhood and how even though he inherited a $2 million trust fund at 18 years old, he owed $4 million in taxes. While talking about how he financially supported his family, especially his parents, in the interview, he mentions that his brother, Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys, didn’t. Yikes.
“When my brother was 18 years old he was out of the house. Didn’t take care of the family,” Aaron explains to GQ., also revealing that he was forced to file for bankruptcy. “I started when I was 7 years old, and I was a provider for my family too. If I could set people straight I wouldn’t want anyone to feel sorry for me. Like, get your facts straight. Like, actually, get your facts straight.”
Thankfully Aaron doesn’t mention his brother Nick again throughout the interview, but he definitely seems upset about how he was taking care of the family when he was 11 or 12 years old, and Nick was off doing his own thing with the Backstreet Boys, according to Aaron.
However, HollywoodLife.com spoke EXCLUSIVELY to Nick about how he worked with Fitness Kitchen LA during Dancing With The Stars, and based on what we told us it sounds like he and Aaron are on very, very good terms. In fact, Nick was hoping to work with Aaron in the very near future.
“I think I will have him open for me,” Nick told HollywoodLife.com about his plans to tour and promote his latest solo album, All American. Nick also shared, “I am talking about working on an album with him.”
Whoa! A Nick and Aaron album would be amazing, wouldn’t it? Fingers crossed it goes down!
