Justin Bieber: Why He Won’t Slam Charlie Puth Despite His Diss Being A ‘Douchey Move’

Mon, March 14, 2016 4:25pm EDT by 10 Comments

Charlie Puth better be thanking his lucky stars. Justin Bieber has decided he’s not going to fire back at the singer for dissing him in concert, and the reason is all about protecting his friends! Read on for all the details!

Justin Bieber, 22, could obliterate Charlie Puth, 24, for saying “f*ck you, Justin Bieber” in concert, but he’s going to refrain. Don’t get him wrong, he’s not happy about showing Charlie any mercy. But he’s got a good reason. He doesn’t want to make trouble for their mutual friend, Wiz Khalifa, 28!

“Justin thinks what Charlie said was a douchey move, but he is refraining from sending shade back at Charlie because it’s a bit of a ‘Charlie Who?’ situation,” a source told EXCLUSIVELY. “And also add to that, he has respect for Wiz Khalifa. Wiz and Charlie have the monster hit, ‘See You Again’ and Justin feels that if he bashes Charlie that will affect future single sales.

“Wiz would be involved in some collateral damage,” the source continued. “Justin doesn’t want to be the reason for Wiz having less money in his wallet, which he knows he would be able to do if he responded to Charlie‘s diss and attacked him. Justin is convinced he could derail Charlie‘s career in just one tweet.”

He’s not wrong! Hell hath no fury like Beliebers scorned, and Charlie could be facing major backlash from all of Justin’s loyal fans if Justin felt the need to respond. Justin must be itching to fight back so badly, but it’s sweet that he feels so strongly that he needs to protect Wiz. That’s friendship! This whole dilemma started when Charlie performed “We Don’t Talk Anymore” at his Dallas concert on March 11.

He decided to add some, let’s say colorful lyrics to the song, which features Justin’s ex, Selena Gomez, 23. Charlie has since apologized for the “mean and uncalled for” move, saying that he didn’t mean to insult Justin or start anything with him. It’s just that the song is definitely about Justin’s relationship with Selena! Maybe no more jokes, Charlie!
