First up, Ben revealed how he made a decision between JoJo and Lauren. He basically said Chris Harrison told him to imagine his life and who he couldn’t imagine not seeing every day — and that was Lauren. But he’d still have to come face-to-face with JoJo.
JoJo came out looking SERIOUSLY better than ever when coming face-to-face with Ben; while she said it was “heart wrenching,” she did say that in a way it was sweet to see how upset he was to see her go. It was probably the most cordial interaction ever between exes. He even said she’d always be “one of the best parts about my past.” Luckily — it won’t be long until we see her again! She is officially the next Bachelorette.
But more on that later — first Lauren and Ben finally got to see each other in public again! She revealed that right after proposing, Ben told her everything that happened during the show before she saw it — every thing that could have been painful to see on TV. Nice move, Ben! Lauren said that today, they’re more in love than ever.
Lauren revealed she’s moving to Denver in the next few weeks to be with him. While talking about their future, Jimmy Kimmel crashed the party and asked a series of really uncomfortable questions, including one about the fantasy suites — and naked barbies.
So, the wedding at the end that Chris Harrison had teased did not happen, but instead Ben brought out Lauren’s family and proposed again in front of them, to make it official. Which was pretty cute, right?! He then brought both their families on stage and they all pretty much raved over how happy they were — a happy ending all around.
Oh yeah, and Ben said that the wedding would be “soon.” Do you want to see them marry on TV?
