March Madness is upon us, with the NCAA tournament starting March 15. While everyone has a favorite team they cheer for, plenty of celebrities like to show support for their alma maters or schools they are hoops fans of, so read on for who to look for in the stands!
Celebrities, they’re just like us when it comes to supporting their college basketball teams in the NCAA March Madness tournament. Now that the massive tournament is nearly upon us, lets take a look at the top 10 stars to look for and what teams they’ll be cheering on!
Among Hollywood top 10 celebrity March Madness fanss, there’s the ever-present Ashley Judd, 47, who noticeably cheers from the stands at her alma mater the Kentucky Wildcats playoff games, which she never misses. Brooklyn Decker, 28, is a super fan of the University of North Carolina Tar Heels, as she grew up just outside of Charlotte. These ladies are lucky because both teams have super strong basketball programs and they always make it far in the tourney!
All right, all right all right, Matthew McConaughey, 46, is a huge fan of the University of Texas Longhorns, while fellow actor Ashton Kutcher, 38, has been a longstanding fan of the University of Iowa Hawkeyes, as he grew up near by the school in Cedar Rapids. Fun fact, he even briefly attended the school for a brief time to study biochemical engineering.
Jason Sudekis, 40, is one of the biggest supporters of the University of Kansas Jayhawks, and he’s constantly spotted wearing baseball hats and t-shirts shoving love for the team all year-long. His close pal Paul Rudd, 46, who grew up in nearby Overland Park and is also known to sport KU love, wearing the team’s gear. The funny men’s buddy Jon Hamm, 44 is a proud University of Missouri supporter after growing up in St. Louis and is frequently seen out and about sporting a Mizzou baseball cap.
Musicians also make up the list of college hoops fans with Canadian rapper Drake, 29, being a huge Kentucky Wildcats fan after befriending the team’s coach John Calipari, while Detroit native Kid Rock, 48, has been known to cheer on Michigan State as both of his parents went to school there. Lastly, Nick Lachey, 42, is a massive supporter of the University of Cincinnati, with it being his hometown team.
