Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are a riot in ‘Sisters’, and we’ve got an exclusive deleted scene from the flick that brings you more amazing Tinamy improv! WATCH here.
Tina Fey, 45, and Amy Poehler, 44, gifted the world with Sisters in Dec. 2015, and you can finally own the film on March 15. Of course, plenty of improvisation went down on set, and fans will definitely eat up the bloopers and deleted scenes on the DVD/Blu-Ray. Check out this funny outtake of Tina, Amy and fellow SNL alum Rachel Dratch improvising about the effects of getting older!
Sisters revolves around a bunch of adults at a giant house party that goes terribly wrong, and in this clip, Tina, Amy and Rachel riff on what it’s like to age. The best part is that Rachel basically revives her Debbie Downer character from Saturday Night Live!
“Grown up parties suck,” bemoans Kate Ellis (Tina Fey) at the beginning of the clip. Kelly (Rachel Dratch) not only agrees, but elevates the party to new, depressing levels: “Best days behind us. Right, guys?” she asks half-heartedly. Maura Ellis (Amy Poehler) tries to remain positive: “But don’t we have a wisdom now?” she suggests hopefully. “Yeah, the wisdom to know the best days are behind us,” Kelly replies. DEAD. Check out the clip to see the rest!
As a refresher, sisters Maura and Kate head back to their childhood home just in time to find out their parents are selling the place out from under them. They decide to throw a huge party, which results in them destroying the house, but of course they do some growing up along the way. If you haven’t seen Sisters yet and you’re still on the fence about it, be sure to check out my review — I promise that you’ll be on the floor laughing throughout the whole thing.
