Bernie Sanders pulled a major upset by beating Hillary Clinton in the Michigan Democratic primary. Now, on March 9, the Dem presidential candidates will go toe to toe in another explosive debate! HollywoodLife.com wants you to see every second so click to watch!
Hillary Clinton, 68, felt the “bern” in Michigan after narrowly losing the state’s primary to Bernie Sanders, 74. Now, the former Secretary of State will face her Dem rival in a debate, right before they have the most super “Super Tuesday” of them all!
Hill and Bernie will head down to the Sunshine State on March 9, debating each other at Miami Dade College campus. Karen Tumulty, 60, of The Washington Post will moderate the event, one that will be broadcast in Spanish on Univision. Joining her will be Maria Elena Salinas, 61, and Jorge Ramos, 57, the same Jorge that was thrown out of a Donald Trump, 69, campaign event in Iowa! The action kicks off at 9:00 P.M. EST so be ready to watch every heated moment!
While Bernie upset Hillary in Michigan, she won the Mississippi primary. That cranks her total delegates (including super delegates) up to 1,221. Bernie is way behind at 571, and a candidate needs 2,383 to win the nomination. There’s a reason this debate is in Florida, because it’s the biggest prize of the March 15 debates.
It’s not officially “Super Tuesday,” but five states will hold primaries on that day: Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio and Florida. 246 delegates will be up for grabs in Florida alone. With 792 delegates in play, a massive victory by Hillary could finally lock down the nod and as of March 9, she leads Bernie by 30 points in Florida, according to Politico, with 69% of women voters throwing their support behind her.
Hillary may have been feeling the “berne” but the Vermont senator was feeling the heat during the March 6 debate. While arguing in Flint, Michigan, the two passionate Democrats got pretty nasty. For a moment, was almost as if viewers were watching Donald bicker with Ted Cruz, 45, and Marco Rubio, 44, at a Republican debate. Twitter, needless to say, freaked out.
Of course, though they’re rivals, Bernie and Hillary found their chill and realized their real enemy was Donald Trump and the rest of the GOP. Bernie even slammed them as being mentally unstable! Will Hillary trash Donald the same way she did on Twitter? Will Bernie somehow win another primary during the debate? There’s only one way to find out.
Who do you want to win the Dem nomination, HollywoodLifers?
