Hope you’re ready to start dating again, Caila! The Ohio native, 24, has reportedly begun filming for season 12 of ‘The Bachelorette,’ according to a new report.
“It’s definitely something I would think about,” Caila Quinn, the second runner up in Ben Higgins‘ season of The Bachelor said at the Feb. 27 taping of Women Tell All, when asked about being the next bachelorette. And apparently she did! Just six days later, she was spotted filming in her hometown! Do you think she’ll make a good bachelorette?
“I feel like it would mean a lot to have guys who actually are interested in you, and have intentions of marriage at the end,” the sales rep told Us magazine, adding that she has now signed on. “The cons would be that I get my heart broken again, that I open up to people who will waste my time and hurt me.”
Of course, the speculation began on March 2 when TMZ caught her being followed around by cameras in Hudson, Ohio — and she was filming her introduction. Her season of The Bachelorette does not have a premiere date just yet, but it is likely to be in the Spring.
“I did fall in love with this process before . . . but I definitely need some time,”Caila told the mag on February 27 at the Women Tell All taping. At the taping, she admitted she wasn’t sure she fit what the show looked for. “I just don’t think that I’m that kind of person. I’m just a normal person. That’s why.”
When we saw Caila last on The Bachelor, Ben had sent her home after the fantasy suites — and she got out of the car and demanded an explanation (good for her!). “I distinctly remember being put in the car the first time and crying to myself, saying, ‘That cannot be the end. I refuse for that to be the way I say goodbye to him,’ because it felt very cold,” she told ABC News. “So I got back out of the car, and I said to him, ‘What happened?’ or ‘When did you know that this wasn’t it?’ and I think I needed to hear that from him and just have that genuine moment, and that last hug felt like enough for me, so it was good.”
We told you that ever since she left, ABC had their eye on her. “They feel like she’s the whole package and that both men and women really like her and want to see her as the Bachelorette,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “We only saw a bit of who she really is on The Bachelor. She’s quite dynamic and funny, not to mention incredibly smart and beautiful. The network feels like she has a huge future and they want to nurture her career as a TV personality.”
Do you think Caila should be the next Bachelorette?
