We’ve been wondering for what seems like forever if Jon Snow will be returning on ‘Game of Thrones.’ And now, we have the answer: yes.
Kit Harington is finally talking about Game of Thrones. We’ve seen him at the airport on days the show is filming; we know he hasn’t cut those luscious locks; so yes, we all assumed he’d be back. And in a way, we were right. But don’t get too excited just yet. Here’s the interview you’ve been waiting for.

“Look, I’m not in the show any more,” Kit told Time Out London in a new interview. “I’m definitely not in the new series.” The reporter then followed up by asking if he filmed new scenes, which we assumed his answer would be “Yes.” We were right.
“I filmed some scenes of me being dead — it’s some of my best work,” he said jokingly. He also added that he has no other information about what’s coming up on the show since he’s not part of the cast yet. “I don’t have a clue. I know how long I’m a corpse for, but I can’t tell you that!”
In the first season six poster for the show, Jon is looking very, er, blue, so the assumption was that he was definitely dead. At the end of the fifth season, we were all pretty much shocked and for months have been trying to figure out if he’s actually dead or alive.
“I think anyone who wants to know what happens in season six has to wait until it comes out,” Kit actually said during a recent interview with BBC, and even though he confirmed that Jon “died at the end of last season,” we needed more.
So, it’s really nice to finally know. Are you happy about Jon Snow’s fate? Game of Thrones returns to HBO on April 24 — and we’ll be watching!
