Despite getting pounded into the ground by Nate Diaz at UFC 196 on March 5, Conor McGregor still showed up to his after-party in Las Vegas. A fan actually posted a Snapchat video of him enjoying a cocktail while partying with friends. Watch it here!
Conor McGregor was surprisingly in high spirits after losing to Nate Diaz at UFC 196 on March 5. The former championship belt holder was spotted partying at Surrender Nightclub at the Encore hotel in Las Vegas and he stayed well past 3:30 AM, a new report claims.
Not only did Conor attend his after-party, but he also looked to be having fun with a cocktail in his hand and friends by his side. He didn’t even look to be in pain despite getting pounded into the ground by Nate Diaz just hours before. You can watch the video of Conor at his party, which was posted by TMZ, above!
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Conor was initially scheduled to face off against Rafael dos Anjos for the lightweight championship, but Rafael withdrew from the fight because of a foot injury. Nate Diaz then stepped up to fight with Conor just 11 days before last night’s matchup. Conor previously stated, “My dream is to be world champion of the UFC, have more money than I know what to do with – and I will be… guarantee it.”
Hopefully, his loss against Nate Diaz won’t discourage him from aiming towards that goal. And we don’t think it will — he didn’t look too upset at his after-party, as evidenced by the Snapchat video.
