His self-titled mixtape arrived in 2015
Less than a year before his untimely death, he released Bankroll Fresh, which included the 2 Chainz collaboration “Take Over Your Trap.” He had previously released Life of a Hot Boy in 2014; Life of a Hot Boy 2: Real Trapper arrived in 2015.
He used to perform under a different stage name
When he first popped up on the scene, Bankroll Fresh was originally Yung Fresh. Though he stopped performing under that name, his Twitter handle still reflected his early days: @1YUNGFRESH.
He launched his own record label
Though Bankroll Fresh was signed to 2 Chainz’ Street Execs label, he had bigger dreams to start his own label. Called Street Money Worldwide, he began plans for the recording house in 2013, and was well on his way there.
He began rapping to provide for his family
Bankroll Fresh took to the streets to provide for his struggling family, but learned quickly that hustling was a rough, and dangerous life. His talent led him to seek a career in the hip hop world, and he was making it big.
