He’s so quick-witted! Kanye West got into a little fighting talk with photographers at LAX, but it was all in good fun. The hip-hop star had the last laugh though, and shot the photog down with this epic put-down. Click here to see the video!
Another day, and it’s another playful exchange with Kanye West, 38, and the paparazzi! The hip-hop star arrived at LAX on March 4 to a slew of photographers, jostling to take his picture. And as one of the photogs goaded Kanye into giving them an outrageous response, he had the greatest comeback!
As you can see in the clip below, Kanye makes his way out of the airport in Los Angeles and heads straight for his waiting limo. However, before he gets there he’s surrounded by photographers. When one tries to get a rise out of him by calling him a “arrogant hypocrite,” Kanye takes the bait! “What are you saying? I’m an arrogant hypocrite? he asks. “Correct! You’re right, you’re damn right,” he exclaims with a wry smile. Then, just to add insult to injury, he tells the photog, “you’re going to make money off that photo, right? You’re welcome!”
Now that’s how you handle the paparazzi, Kanye. Well played. He’s certainly learned a lot since THAT infamous run-in with one snapper called Daniel Ramos at LAX back in July 2013, when he was seen on video trying to wrestle a camera out of the hands of the photog.
The pair settled their differences out of court, after Kanye pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of battery. He was then sentenced to two years’ probation for the incident, as well as anger management sessions and community service by a judge.
