The time has come for everyone to say goodbye to a wonderful woman — Joey Feek. She was a wonderful singer, mother, wife and much, much more. At just 40 years old, Joey has fought and lost an incredibly hard battle with cancer, which left her in hospice care by Nov. 2015, where she was fighting hard for her life for several months before finally succumbing to the disease.
Before Joey passed, Rory had been updating his blog regularly with updates on her dire condition, but with a positive outlook. He gave fans a look into Joey’s final days, including the happy ones, where she was seen smiling around 2-year-old, Indiana, and also the more difficult ones, where she couldn’t even lift her head off the pillow while fighting through intense pain.
