You have to see this to believe it! Chontel Duncan is one HOT — and fit — mom-to-be as she’s a whopping eight months pregnant while shamelessly rocking abs of steal! But the fitness model, who’s still actively training, claims that although she’s barely showing, her baby is as healthy as can be.
Chontel Duncan is set to give birth later this month, but she still boasts a lean physique complete with toned muscles and an insane core. In fact, the former Miss Universe finalist has completely wowed the Internet with her barely-noticeable pregnancy. But in an effort to prove that “all women carry differently,” Chontel took to social media to document her pregnancy journey — even snapping a comparison pic with her friend who’s shockingly just four weeks farther along in her pregnancy.
“People think I’m harming my baby … and that I’m all about staying skinny and not nourishing my little D,” Chontel revealed to Us Weekly. “I know it’s hard to believe that someone can carry a child the way I am, but in reality, a lot of women carry like me.” Hard to believe is right! Just look at Chontel’s stunning pregnant bod — we never would have guessed she’s 36 weeks along.
Chontel and her husband Sam plan to welcome their first child, a baby boy, on March 30. But in order to prove a point, back in November 2015, Chontel used Instagram as a platform to show her over-200-thousand followers that all pregnant women carry in different ways. The photo was a belly comparison between herself and her friend Nat, who is just four weeks ahead of Chontel in her pregnancy. The snapshot went viral earlier this week — and it’s easy to see why!
I was surprised with a cute visit today from a friend Nat who is also expecting 💕 Just being able to see someone in the flesh, rub her tummy, hear how incredible her journey has been so far, how healthy baby is & all the fun talk about kicks, food, names etc was beautiful. And while we totally agree with Chontel, the difference between the two women’s stomachs is pretty wild! But it just goes to show what working out can do for your body — even while pregnant!
Chontel works as a high intensity interval training instructor in Queensland, Australia and continues to train every day at HIIT Australia gym in Brisbane. “I can modify any exercise to work with my pregnancy,” the model revealed. But just how does she ensure the baby’s safety during her workout sessions? She avoids putting too much pressure on her back, knees, and bump.
The reason the super fit soon-to-be mom is keeping up such a high level of fitness is that she hopes her activity will help her prepare for the pregnancy. “Labour and the delivery is a MARATHON,” Chontel explained. “Would you rock up to the day of your marathon unprepared? No!” You go, girl! This is one pregnant woman you won’t see laying around the house giving into her sugar cravings, that’s for sure!
And while Chontel has received some criticism for appearing so thin while with child, she happily reported that her happiness is untouchable! “No comment can dull my shine,” she gushed. “I’m literally smiling every day, and so excited.” Aw! We’re so excited for you too, Chontel!
