Is the man in the White House a huge fan of ‘House Of Cards?’ Season 4 of the hit political drama dropped on March 4 and the show’s Francis Underwood thinks even President Barack Obama is making time to binge watch. Click to see.
Does President Barack Obama, 54, love House Of Cards more than sharks love blood? One of the stars of the show, and the man who said that shark quote, thinks that even the most powerful man in the world is making time to see every episode of the brand new season!
West Wing Reports, the Twitter account of presidential history enthusiast and columnist Paul Brandus, wrote on March 4 that there was a “pretty dusting of snow on [the] White House this morning; no public events on President’s schedule.” Even presidents get snow days! However, if anyone thought that Barack was going to build a snowman with Malia 17, and Sasha, 14, Senator Underwood chimed in with what Barack was really doing.
“Somebody’s binging #HouseofCards,” the @RepUnderwoodSC account tweeted. “By all means, enjoy, @BarackObama.” Now, while that tweet wasn’t from the actual Kevin Spacey, 56, (who goes by @KevinSpacey ) the comment was still pretty funny. The fictional senator from South Carolina is likely right. Barack revealed he was a fan of the show in 2014, tweeting “no spoilers, please” right before season 2 was to drop. He even pulled his best Frank Underwood impression for April’s Fools Day 2015, according to E! News. It was…okay. Barack should probably stick to running the country. He still has a great singing voice, though!
With Frank and his wife, Claire Underwood (Robin Wright, 49), going to war in Season 4, it wouldn’t be surprising that Barack decided to watch every new episode back-to-back. If fans need a refresher on all the important and scandalous details before they be like Barack and binge watch, HollywoodLife.com put together a helpful refresher course. Knowledge is power, and if there’s anything that Frank loves, it’s power.
Do you think Barack was binge watching House of Cards, HollywoodLifers?
