Nothing brings together competitors quite like Donald Trump. HollywoodLife.com just learned that late night hosts and celebrities are about to come together to perform a famous hit song, all to make fun of Republican candidate.
What do Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel have in common? Well, they all get a ton of laughs every time they mock Donald Trump — and there’s a lot to crack jokes about. So, why not unite as a group of hilarious comedians and plan a joke everyone will be talking about? That’s exactly what they’re planning.

“Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon and other late night hosts have thrown around an idea to each other for a viral video on making fun of Donald Trump by uniting with various celebs and themselves by doing a “We Are the World” spoof,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. In the midst of the election buzz, most of their opening monologues have revolved around the candidate anyway, so it would make sense. And yes, our source said “various celebs” and other hosts will join, and we know that many have been very vocal about not being much of a fan.
John Oliver went on a 30-minute rant about Trump, calling him a “litigious serial liar,” as well as many other not-so-nice things; Jimmy Fallon has actually dressed up and totally nailed his Trump impression. Jimmy Kimmel even did a “worst candidate in history” skit on his show!
“They are thinking of the lyrics and working on schedules to film it and make it work. It is a massive undertaking but they all think especially with the latest news that is out there about Donald that it would be absolutely epic,” the source added.
“We Are The World” of course is the 1985 song by “USA for Africa,” written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, and it is about bringing people together — something Trump hasn’t been too keen on, especially if you aren’t America.
Do you think the late night hosts’ skit will be funny? What do you want to see?
