Sophie Beem is just 16-years-old but she has the voice of a seasoned pro. The New York teen was discovered by Beyonce, who immediately signed her to her management company, Parkwood Entertainment and now is exclusively debuting her first ever EP!

Sophie Beem, 16, is exploding onto the scene with her debut EP, which features 5 songs like “Girls Will Be Girls” and her first single out, “I Got It” featuring Fetty Wap. She’s currently living out her dreams on tour with Charlie Puth and anyone who has Beyonce stamp off approval, definitely has our attention! Take a listen to this EP, you’ll be adding all the songs to your playlist immediately.

Sophie has been performing all of her life and even had a short stint on The X-Factor but it was when she played for one of Queen Bey’s Parkwood executives at NYC’s The Bitter End that luck was on her side. “[Beyonce] was on her tour in Amsterdam at the time. I was asked to put together a package for Beyoncé with a personal letter, photos, and videos. I was like ‘Dear Ms. Knowles…’ I was excited to tell my story and grateful for the opportunity that someone like her would listen to what I had to say; care about what I was experiencing,” Sophie says. “I think she saw in me more than just an Upper East Side girl who wants to be a singer. She could tell I had gone through some things and that deep down I have a soul.” Check out her EP below:

Here’s the complete track list: “Girls Will Be Girls,” “I Got It (feat. Fetty Wap),” “Skyline,” “Nail Polish,” “Sleepless/City Kid.”
