Donald Trump celebrated his Super Tuesday victory in Florida, but all eyes were on his latest supporter, Chris Christie. The former candidate was viciously mocked on Twitter for his pained facial expressions during Trump’s speech — and of course, he was made into several hilarious memes!
Chris Christie didn’t look all that thrilled to be standing behind Donald Trump at a press conference in Florida on March 1, even after the GOP candidate’s big Super Tuesday win. Viewers immediately took notice of the confused/scared look on Christie’s face, and social media blew up with people mocking the expression. You HAVE to see some of the memes here!

The New Jersey governor recently announced his decision to endorse Donald after he himself dropped out of the race, so he was right there to support the 69-year-old at a rally in Florida. Chris actually introduced Donald to the podium, but it was those faces he made behind the stage that really got people talking! Hundreds social media users joked that Chris was rethinking his decision to put his support behind the Trump and that was the reason behind the look on his face.
In his speech, Donald pulled his usual Trump-isms, slamming fellow candidates like Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, and bragging about how great he’s going to make America. The biggest question reporters had, though, was whether or not Trump planned to finally disavow his endorsement of the KKK, and he even though he denied ever refusing to disavow the group, he also said he likes to “know more about groups before writing them off.” Um, seriously? We’d have the same reaction as Christie to that one!
The numbers don’t lie, though, and all around America, there’s clear support for Donald. He was the Super Tuesday winner in seven states, Georgia, Virginia, Alabama, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Vermont and Arkansas, while Cruz lagged behind, winning three states (Oklahoma, Alaska and Texas), and Rubio took only Minnesota. Ben Carson and John Kasich ended the big voting day with no wins under their belts.
