Wow. Performing his Oscar nominated song, ‘Writing’s On The Wall’ from ‘Spectre,’ Sam Smith totally blew us away on the Academy Awards stage.
Looking as handsome as ever, Sam Smith took the Oscars stage to perform the beautiful ballad he co-wrote for Spectre, the latest film in the James Bond franchise. He sang “Writing’s On The Wall” on a dark stage while standing in front of the white, circular light that is used in almost ever James Bond-related film.
We can’t discuss James’ performance without mentioning how fantastic he looked. Sam showed off his newly slimmer figure in a dark, svelte suit. He also buzzed his hair down short and clean for the big show, just as he did his growing beard.
The performance was absolutely beautiful, as Sam’s voice is out of this world. He was the first nominated song of the night to take the stage, and a great way to get the show going!
In case you missed it, Sam brought along the song’s writer, Jimmy Napes, on the red carpet. It’s great to see them supporting one another throughout the 2016 awards season!
