For her big night, Brie turned to her award season beauty team, with Rachel Goodwin creating her makeup look. Working with Chanel, Rachel kept Brie’s skin clean and glowing. For a pop of color, she lined Brie’s upper lashline and waterline with the deep violet Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner in Purple Choc. For the perfect pink lip, she used Chanel Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour in Rayonnante.
Mara Roszak‘s hair look was the real highlight of Brie’s look, styled into polished waves that were parted down the middle. To add even more glamour to Brie’s look, Mara twisted tiny sections of hair on either side of Brie’s face and wove them around a Swarovski crystal comb at the back of her head. Brie’s hair piece was the $1,125 Arielle Chignon Wrap Comb by Jennifer Behr, but you can get a similar look with a rhinestone barrette. To give Brie’s hair a high-shine finish and hold, Mara sprayed her hair with L’Oréal Paris Elnett Hairspray and L’Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Nutri-Gloss High Shine Glossing Mist.

Even though she’s been having an amazing season, winning awards at the Golden Globe, Critics’ Choice and SAGs, in the March issue of Elle magazine, she admits to still getting starstruck: “It was crazy. It was pretty much, like, Helen Mirren, Cate Blanchett, Saoirse Ronan, and me. Then Jennifer Lawrence came in for a little bit, and Kate Winslet, Carey Mulligan…. But it was kind of all that group, with all of these different press things that we had to do. You’re having meals together, and doing these roundtables—I felt like I was hallucinating.”
“Most of those people I’d never met before, so it was like the moment when you’re not at the kid’s table anymore: Wow, not only am I sitting with these legends, but Kate Winslet saw me and ran across the room and grabbed me and with such a beautiful intensity said, ‘I am so f**king excited for you!’ I love her,” Brie went on to say.
