They sit in third place in the Western Conference, but the Oklahoma City Thunder have been on a downward spiral of late. However, they get to change all of that when they entertain the Golden State Warriors at their home fortress, the Chesapeake Energy Arena. Will they get back to winning ways? Click down for the live stream to find out!
After a promising start to the season, the Thunder has been stuttering along the finishing line as we get to the business end of the season. Defeats to the Warriors, Indiana Pacers and Cleveland Cavaliers in February have brought their fans down to earth.
Meanwhile, Golden State suffered their own blip in a freak loss to the Portland Trail Blazers, but they returned to winning ways again of late and have their eye on a record for most wins in a NBA season. That was set by Michael Jordan‘s Chicago Bulls in the 1995-96 season, when they finished as NBA champs with a 72-10 record. Can Golden State better that?
Well, with Stephen Curry showing unbelievable pieces of skill, and averaging almost 30 points a game you’d have to say they’re almost unbeatable. Couple that with Klay Thompson, who starred in the NBA All-Star Game, and they’re a force that can be unmatched when they’re on song.
But Oklahoma isn’t lacking on their own attacking arsenal. With Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant in their team, they have two of the best players in the NBA who can definitely do some damage to this Golden State team.
This is likely to be a very high-scoring game, and if Oklahoma play aggressively and can wrestle the ball back from Golden State they have every chance of walking away as winners.
