Is it just me, or do you feel like Taylor Swift threw on her blazer, complete with shoulder pads, and exclaimed: “It’s my most capable looking outfit!” before heading out the door? She was all business in her all-white outfit — and she looked identical to Connie Britton in character as Faye Resnick on the ‘People vs. O.J. Simpson’ — didn’t she?
Both Taylor Swift, 26, and Jack Antonoff, 31, have offered their support to Kesha following the outcome of her lawsuit and both musicians caught up over dinner at Maia in West Hollywood on Feb. 25, which, judging by Taylor’s outfit of choice, was clearly all business. The songstress left her mini skirts and printed dresses behind and, instead, donned a white blazer, (complete with shoulder pads), and high-waisted trousers with a white crop top for the outing. While Taylor rocked the separates to perfection, the 90s vibes of the get-up totally reminded us of Connie Britton‘s amazing Faye Resnick depiction on American Crime Story: People vs O.J. Simpson. Literally just days after the episode aired, Taylor stepped out in a seriously similar look — and even if it’s just an amazing coincidence, we still can’t help but ask — who wore it better?
Is Taylor honestly taking style tips from the People vs. O.J. Simpson? Probably not — but you can’t deny the fact that it’s an amazing comparison! Trousers are back in a big way and Taylor looked AH-MAZING in this outfit. We love the retro look and Tay pulled it off perfectly, all while showing some skin in a sexy, tasteful way. She polished off her white separates with a pair of pumps and a clutch.
If you want to try Taylor’s look, you can SHOP for a white boyfriend blazer HERE. While we totally recommend rocking it with a pair of high-waisted trousers, just like Taylor, you can also rock it with a pair of shorts, jeans or a dress. The options are endless!
What do you think? Who rocked the look better?
