Donald Trump came under fire at the Feb. 25 debate! Marco Rubio tore into the real estate mogul for supporting self-deportation while getting illegal immigrants to build his empire. Marco Rubio even said Donald was the ‘only one on the stage’ who hired people to work illegally!
The gloves are off at the final debate before Super Tuesday. Marco Rubio, 44, took on Donald Trump, 69, over his notorious anti-immigration opinions. Marco even called Donald a hypocrite for wanting to deport 11 million undocumented immigrants when he has a history of hiring them for his resorts!
“Donald, you’ve hired a significant amount of people from other countries to take jobs Americans would gladly fill,” Marco said during the Feb. 25 event at the Moores Opera House in Houston, Texas. “Instead of hiring an American…you’ve brought in over a thousand people from all over the world instead.”
Marco pointed out that Donald uses immigrants for labor after he criticized Mitt Romney‘s 2012 campaign over supporting “self-deportation,” or making it harder for illegal immigrants to find legal work in the U.S., thus making immigrants “deport themselves” back to their home countries, per the Business Insider. Trump wants to allow “the good ones” back into the country, after they pass certain tests and qualifications. Marco, like Ted Cruz, 45, wants to ban all undocumented immigrants permanently. Marco ended his attack by saying Donald was “the only [candidate] on the stage to ever be fined for hiring people to work on your projects illegally.” Burn!
Marco knows he needs to make a huge impression on voters with Super Tuesday looming overhead. The Florida senator needs to pull off a huge victory on March 1 if he wants to dethrone Donald as the frontrunner. Marco hasn’t won an election, as Ted Cruz took the Iowa caucuses while Donald won the New Hampshire primary, the South Carolina primary and the Nevada caucus. Marco came in second in South Carolina, third in Iowa and fifth in New Hampshire, so he definitely needs a win if he wants to stay in the race.

"I didn't criticize Romney for self-deportation, I criticized him for being a loser."–Presidential candidate Donald Trump #GOPDebate

It has been quite an ugly political campaign between the Republican candidates. Donald has picked a fight with all his rivals. The former Celebrity apprentice star has compared Ben Carson to a child molester, blasted John Kasich for being desperate and “nasty,” and made crude, sexist comments about Hillary Clinton. 68.
There have also been some really weird moments during this campaign. Ted Cruz, 45, swore that he wasn’t the demon from the horror movie It Follows. Ted also got mocked for comparing Muslims to purple unicorns. It’s hard to tell if that comment was as strange — or gross — as Jeb Bush, 63, promising to give a warm kiss to Democrats. We don’t think Hill or Bernie Sanders, 74, took Jeb up on his offer.
What do you think about Marco dragging Donald at the debate, HollywoodLifers?
