He’s taken bigger slaps than that! John Cena took a right to the chops, but it came in the form of a reporter’s flying pony-tail rather than a WWE opponent in this hilarious video from the Daytona 500 on Feb. 21. Click here to watch!
John Cena, 38, is use to getting slaps in the ring as a WWE wrestler and action movie star, but we bet he didn’t bank on this happening to him! The muscular star was happy to be a guest at the Daytona 500, grid-side with the drivers, until he was swiped by a Fox Sports reporter’s pony-tail as she was making her way through the track.
Trackside reporter Jamie Little was flying around before the race began, interviewing drivers and hunting for some great soundbites before the big race at the Daytona International Speedway in Dayton Beach, Fl.
However, she seemed to miss John as she walked straight past him, slapping his right cheek with a flying ponytail! Has John ever been hit a ponytail before?
Well, it clearly seemed new to him judging by the video — his face is a picture! His expression screams what just happened? To, yeah I did get smacked by a ponytail in the kisser!
In fairness to John, who was there to ride the pace car, he had a sense of humor about it and even cracked on Twitter at his own expense.

Jamie must be relieved John saw the funny side, she wouldn’t want to get on the bad side of that movie hard man, right?
