That’ll hurt! Kobe Bryant dislocated his finger during the Los Angeles Lakers game against the San Antonio Spurs on Feb. 19 at the Staples Center, but this fan’s reaction seeing him pop it back into place is just priceless! Watch the video right here!
Ouch! Careful Kobe Bryant, 37, you don’t want your season to end prematurely in your last year! Black Mamba showed he has a high pain threshold after he dislocated a finger and popped it back in place during the Los Angeles Lakers game against San Antonio Spurs on Feb. 19. But spare a thought a thought for the horrified fan who witnessed the whole incident in her court side seats!
Kobe was stretching out for a lose ball when the nasty incident happened. As he stumbled to the ground he put his right hand down on the court to keep his balance and managed to pop his right finger completely out of joint.
As he moved off the court, where all the lucky spectators who have court side seats sit, a Lakers doc came running over to Kobe, gave his finger a quick tug, and popped it back into its socket.
But it was all to much to take for one lady who looked absolutely horrified when she watched the incident unfold. She just had to look away because she might’ve just barfed if she continued to watch Kobe’s digit getting fixed.
Despite Kobe managing to play on with his freak injury, the Lakers fell at home to the Spurs in a close game by a score of 119-113. It will be a game that’s sure to live in the memory for that fan though, for sure!
Despite the Lakers and Kobe’s struggles this season, he was included in the All-Star Game in his final season as a professional. He will officially retire in April.
