The final touches are being put on Zayn Malik’s album ‘Mind of Mine,’ and his producer is sharing the love! MYKL took to Instagram to share a clip of one of the singer’s new tracks, ‘Drunk All Summer,’ and we can’t get over how great he sounds. Listen here!
Another day, another taste of new Zayn Malik, 23, music! This time, his producer, MYKL, treated us to a short, 10-second clip of the song “Drunk All Summer,” and it’s only gotten us MORE excited for the new album. Take a listen right now!
“Late nights, red eyes, amnesia,” the 23-year-old sings on the track. Interestingly, we’ve heard a version of this one before! Earlier this month, Zayn shared a very similar clip on Snapchat of himself bopping along to the song, but at that time, fans guessed that the tune was called “Late Nights.” So, now we know the actual name and are hearing a more refined version! Stream Zayn’s music and more ad-free RIGHT HERE.
Although he just debuted his first solo single “Pillowtalk” on Jan. 29, Zayn certainly hasn’t been greedy about giving fans a taste of what’s to come. Rather than performing the No. 1 hit during his first TV appearance with Jimmy Fallon on Feb. 17, the former One Direction member decided to debut a brand new song instead — “It’s You,” which he’s admitted was inspired by Perrie Edwards.
“If Perrie heard the song a few months ago, she would’ve had more of an emotional reaction to it, but her tears about the breakup are not there anymore,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She has moved on. Sure, she is interested in hearing the songs about her, but she is in a good place right now and can hear them with an open heart and open mind.” Phew!
Zayn’s debut solo album “Mind Of Mine” drops on March 25, which, coincidentally, is the one-year anniversary of when he decided to leave One Direction! Along with the debut of “It’s You,” he also showed his album cover for the first time, which features him as a little kid, albeit with tattooed arms, as artwork. TOOO cute!
