Kanye West was incredibly frustrated on Feb. 17 when he jetted off to France after his ‘SNL’ meltdown went viral, and a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that he took that frustration out on an LAX employee. We have the details, here.
Uh oh! Kanye West, 38, was already upset when he headed to LAX to get away from the stress of his SNL meltdown going public on Feb. 17, but finding out he was bumped from first to business class pushed him over the edge. A source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that he totally freaked out on an Air France employee. Here’s what went down.
It sounds like Kanye caused more trouble than he fixed by jetting off to France on Feb. 17 after his meltdown backstage at Saturday Night Live hit the internet. “When Kanye was bumped on his flight to France from first class to business on Wednesday he lost it again,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Kanye threw a temper tantrum directed at the gate agent employee for Air France in the international terminal of LAX,” the source explained. It all boils down to a last-minute booking and a standard airline practice. “The problem was that Kanye booked his first class ticket with very little notice, only a day or so before the flight. It is routine for airlines to over-sell seats. When Kanye arrived for his flight he lost his cool when he was told that first class was full and that he would need to sit in business class.”
A last-minute ticket across the northern hemisphere doesn’t come cheap, and Kanye was pissed to lose his comfy, roomy seat. “Even though he has been crying about being broke, he spent a lot on his first class ticket and was not happy about the down grade,” the source continued EXCLUSIVELY to HollywoodLife.com. “After arguing with the airline employee, he calmed down and boarded the flight after all the first class passengers had taken their seats.” Hopefully his time abroad will help Kanye avoid more outbursts like these.
