Chris Brown knows a thing or two about having a meltdown, so he reached out to Rihanna following the cancellation of her Grammy performance and postponing of her tour to give her some advice, a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Here’s the scoop.
Rihanna, 27, has had a rough week after being forced to cancel her Grammy performance and postpone the beginning of her tour. Luckily, her ex-boyfriend and old friend Chris Brown, 26, is stepping up to give her some advice about how to handle it from his own experiences, a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Here’s what he told her.
Since Chris has been through having a meltdown in the public eye, he reached out to Riri. “They’ve been talking by phone,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Chris sympathized with her for not performing at the Grammys. At the same time, he suggested she stop throwing tantrums and just push through.” You can stream Rihanna’s music RIGHT HERE.
In order to do so, Chris gave Rihanna some pointers. “He doesn’t know if she’s still smoking weed on the regular but he told her to put that stuff down so she can think clearly,” the source continued EXCLUSIVELY to HollywoodLife.com. “He told her that spiraling out of control isn’t a good look and reminded of her that she’s the Queen of Pop with so much to lose.”
Chris mentioned that another huge part of avoiding trouble is getting anger under control. “He‘s not a doctor, but Chris told Ri about some good anger management docs he‘s seen and how they’ve helped calm him down,” the source explained EXCLUSIVELY to HollywoodLife.com. “Chris loves Rihanna. And even know they’re not together, that’s still his girl. He will always look out for her no matter what.” So sweet. We really hope Rihanna is doing well and gets back to her tour ASAP!
