It seems all is well in the world of the Los Angeles Clippers. Blake Griffin was photographed playing peacemaker with the equipment manager he threw punches at that led to his broken hand. The NBA team shared the pic on social media — click to see!
Blake Griffin, 26, and the Los Angeles Clippers want you all to know that whatever issues were brewing between the all-star and his team’s equipment manager — has been squashed for good. The NBA team released a friendly exchange between the player and Matias Testi on Feb. 18. Phew. Now can we get back to basketball?
The LA Clippers shared a photo that showcased a “genuine” high-five between Blake and Matias and captioned the tweet: “#Family.” Seems kind of staged to me, but whatever works. This “friendly photo” comes on the heels of Blake’s getting into a fistfight with an equipment staffer during the team’s recent trip to Toronto, according to ESPN. Blake allegedly struck the man in the face twice, and sources told ESPN that Blake possibly suffered a fracture in his hand. The injury will keep him out for “a matter of weeks, as opposed to days.” Any who, there were rumors about him being traded, but he wound up getting a four-game suspension and will be docked five games’ pay — once his hand heels.
Fans were not taking the bait and decided to turn the tables and use the hashtag “Family” to share hilarious images of enemies playing nice. Honestly, their memes and gifs won the Twitter battle is you ask me.
