After all the drama with Blake Griffin, the Los Angeles Clippers sure could use some good news. Unfortunately, they’re playing the white hot San Antonio Spurs on Feb. 18. It should be a good game and HollywoodLife.com wants you to see every second. Click to watch!
Now that the NBA All-Star Game is over, it’s time to get back to business. The Los Angeles Clippers are ready to make a run for the Playoffs but standing in their way are the San Antonio Spurs. Will the Clippers clip their Western Conference rivals wings or will the Spurs stomp all over Los Angeles?
Los Angeles will host San Antonio on Feb. 18, as the Spurs look to score their 46th win of the season. The Clippers are not going to make it easy, and San Antonio wouldn’t have it any other way. The action kicks off at 10:30 P.M. EST and this is a can’t-miss game!
This rematch from the first round of the 2015 NBA Playoffs may give a preview of which team will face Steph Curry, 27, and the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference finals. Right now, the Clippers would be grateful for a win after dealing with the headache surrounding Blake Griffin. The 26-year-old player got into a fight with a member of the team’s staff and broke his hand in the process. The team suspended Blake for 4 games without pay on Feb. 9, and Blake apologized a week later.
“I just want to say that I have had a lot of time to reflect, and that I am very truly, truly sorry for what happened,” Blake said, according to ESPN. “It was a situation between two friends that kind of got out of hand, and I exercised poor judgment.” Even with this headache, the Clippers are sticking by Blake.
“I’ve told you that we’re not trading Blake,” Clippers president and coach Doc Rivers said, “but I guess everyone wants to keep doing that. So we’ll let them do that. It is what it is…It frustrates you when you know nothing’s going on, but what can you do?” Hopefully, they can hold off Tim Duncan, 39, and the rest of the Spurs offense.
Who do you think will win this game, HollywoodLifers?
