‘The Challenge’ came to a dramatic end on Feb. 17, and HollywoodLife.com caught up with the winner — right after that intense reunion.
If one thing is true it’s that The Challenge: Battle of the Bloodlines took emotions to a whole new level. — and the winning team may have gotten the worst treatment of all. After the finale, followed by that insane reunion, we sat down with the winners to dissect it all; and they had a strong message for those who continued to put down their team: no one got them there except themselves; and yes, they want to return.

“I would do another,” Cara Maria told us after her big win — and getting torn down during the reunion. “I could [go out on top], but it’s like, if people want to spend the whole reunion taking it away from me, then let me try again without people and win without somebody ‘handing it to me,’ without me being a ‘scumbag a–hole loser person.’ Let me try to win again now, or let me just try to do as many eliminations as I can. I’m going for an elimination record.”
She also wasn’t too thrilled with the way she was portrayed, especially on the reunion, which focused mostly on her rocky relationship with Abram. “All they did was show me looking bad! I f–king won!” she said.
Her teammate and cousin Jamie obviously had her back — she did prep him before heading on the show.
“I told him, he can be as in shape as he wants but ‘if you’re not good at puzzles, we’re f–ked,'” she said laughing. “I was like, ‘Download trivia and learn stupid sh-t, because that’s the kind of stuff that evens the playing field.'” She also told her cousin not to be “butt heart” about getting voted into an elimination round. “I just assumed we were going to go in to everyone,” she said.
As for what’s next, well the winners are enjoying time at home — and Jamie’s planning to invest his winnings. Cara hasn’t quite figured out what to do with the money yet but says first, she got lasik. “It was really worth it!” Well, we’re hoping she does another challenge — and now we know she won’t have any trouble seeing anything.
