Leave it to James Corden to snag yet another one of our favorite singers for another rendition of ‘Carpool Karaoke.’ This time he’s got the goddess that is Sia and it made for one epic ride along!
YES!!! We absolutely adore Sia, 40, and are so excited that James Corden, 37, got the mega-talented Aussie to take part in the best late night segment on TV, Carpool Karaoke. James is on quite a roll after having Justin Bieber, 21, make his THIRD appearance in the skit for his post-Grammys show Feb. 15, but to follow it up the next day with the exquisite Sia is quite a feat!
Since Sia is wearing her usual black and platinum wig that she’s been rocking lately, she can’t see James as he pulls up to pick her up to help him get to work. She’s wearing a giant black bow atop her head and is walking around in circles on the sidewalk until James has to get out of the car and guide her over to its front seat. “Do you mind if we listen to the radio?” he asks and OF COURSE they launch into her biggest hit “Chandelier” Consider our minds BLOWN!
She explained about her crazy look that “I don’t wear this thing unless there’s a camera around, I only wear it so I can maintain a modicum of privacy,” and that the thing that was missing from pop music was “mystery” which she brought back! The pair then launched into Rihanna‘s “Diamonds” which was written by none other than Sia herself. After a quick chat they next hit up “Elastic Heart,” which was a-maz-ing! James even made Sia feel at home by donning her identical wig – saying it made him feel totally like Sia before breaking into a crushing rendition of “Alive,” before Sia showied off her wild double jointed fingers which were able to hold six eggs each! Wow, that’s a cool trick! Next up was her hit with David Guetta “Titanium,” which came just in time for them to roll onto the CBS lot. Whew, what a great ride to work that was for James!
HollywoodLifers, what did you think of Sia’s Carpool Karaoke? How did it measure up to others stars ride alongs?
