Naeem Khan’s Fall 2016 collection oozed glamour as gowns with intricate detailing came down the runway. From embellished fringe to gorgeous, golden hues and intricate embroidery, it was all about the details.
Naeem Khan sited Art Deco architecture as an influence of his Fall 2016 collection, which was nothing short of gorgeous as it made its debut on the runway on Feb. 17 during New York Fashion Week. From cape dresses to embellished fringe and printed frocks with matching boots, the detailing was divine — and we can’t wait to see looks from the Fall 2016 line on the red carpet!
The designer stayed true to his aesthetic as he sent caftan-like dresses, bold prints and capes down the runway — elements we’ve seen him infuse in his collections effortlessly season after season. Highlights in the collection included a slew of gorgeous gold gowns that closed out the show — the embroidery was just exquisite. I also was left in awe by the embellished fringe elements that decorated the dresses — the intricate pieces truly made a statement, and it’s only a matter of time before Naeem Khan‘s celeb fanbase rocks the looks. From Vanessa Hudgens to Kate Hudson and even the fashionable First Lady, Michelle Obama, the looks were made for a major moment.
Along with the gorgeous dresses that lined the runway, the finale was extra special — and that’s because when the designer emerged to make his final bow, he wasn’t alone. He was accompanied by Trinity Faith Moran, an 11-year-old girl who suffers from Rhabdomyosarcoma. Trinity was there thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Glam4Good, and she looked like a pretty princess in a red Naeem Khan dress and a gold headband. Trinity looked just like one of the models in her bright red dress and she got to take in the collection from the front row before Naeem pulled her up to walk the runway.
