Kendrick didn’t seem the least bit upset about the huge loss when Taylor took home Best Album. As a matter of fact, when Taylor ran over to him looking shocked and apologetic, he gave her a huge, warm hug and congratulated her on the win like a total upstanding gentleman. We can only imagine that Kanye would be heartbroken to see his friend hugging his enemy, and even more upset that she beat him.
Everything about Taylor’s major Album of the Year Grammy win must have bugged Kanye. For the whole week leading up to the Grammys he had been feuding with the singer, since her fans and friends lashed out at him for saying he “made that b*tch famous” in a new song. Not to mention that when she won, she beat out a fan favorite and close friend of Kanye’s, Kendrick. As a matter of fact, Kanye had just tweeted about doing 40 songs with Kendrick right before the show.

Kanye wouldn’t be the only one pissed that Tay won. After the upset last year when Kendrick lost Best Rap Ablum to Macklemore, many people expected him to win Best Album for his controversial and brilliantly political To Pimp A Butterfly. Don Cheadle was so shocked that he lost that he said he almost “Kanyed” the stage! Hopefully Kanye can be as humble as Kendrick and stay chill about the whole thing.
