Even though Calvin Harris wasn’t at the Grammy Awards with Taylor Swift, he was still cheering his ‘beautiful girlfriend’ on from home when she won her Album of the Year award on Feb. 15. See his adorable congratulatory message, here!
Oh my god, it’s so cute how proud Calvin Harris, 32, is of his “beautiful girlfriend” Taylor Swift, 26! He couldn’t be with her at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 15, but he still made sure to show his support on Instagram after her inspirational speech. See his sweet congratulation right here.
Taylor had a major night at the 2016 Grammy Awards. She won three awards on Feb. 15 including Best Pop Vocal Album of the Year, Best Music Video of the Year, and Best Album of the Year (which you can stream RIGHT HERE). However, it was the last one that Calvin just couldn’t resist congratulating her for on Instagram.
He posted a photo of her accepting her award next to Jack Antonoff and Max Martin with the super-sweet message “Congratulations to my beautiful girlfriend.” However, we’re sure he was just as proud of what she said than the award she won. When Kanye West attacked her in a song just days before the big show, Calvin pushed her to retaliate. And clearly she took his advice.
During TayTay’s speech while receiving the award, she said “As the first woman to win album of the year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there: there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame, but if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and you’ll know it was you and the people who love you who put you there and that will be the greatest feeling in the world.” We’re sure she counts Calvin as one of those people. So sweet!
