Taylor Swift’s front row dance moves are the highlights of any music awards show and the 2016 Grammys should have been no different. But whoever was directing this ceremony deprived us of one of the greatest awards show experiences ever – cutaways to Taylor dancing along to every song!!
Oh how we love Taylor Swift, 26, and her adorable audience awards show dance moves! Seated front and center for the 58th Annual Grammy Awards, we were hoping to get a nice clear shot of her jamming out to everyone on stage because boy does she get into every type of music there is! She even had her bestie Selena Gomez, 23, as her date to the ceremony to really help get the party started! But what happened? We were completely deprived of Tay Tay dancing and the Twittersphere is FURIOUS! Read on for the internet outcry!
A dancing Taylor is such an awards show favorite that it’s something that people actually look forward to, with fans taking to Twitter even mentioning how they were going to play drinking games for every time a shot of Tay shaking her booty was shown. But we were totally deprived as the telecast’s directors decided to keep one hundred percent of the camera time on the performers and not on the audience reaction during their numbers. We only got one little glance thanks to s show-goer’s camera and Tay’s looking so adorable as ever.
The Twittersphere was clearly as upset as we were that the show completely denied us of Taylor’s fabulously awkward moves!
Tay Tay already had plenty to celebrate heading in to the big night even without her dancing, with wins for Best Music Video for “Bad Blood” that featured her fierce girl squad, but she also nabbed Best Pop Vocal Album and won the night’s big prize, Album of the Year later on. She lit up the red carpet in a super hot red bandeau top that showed off her toned abs and a hot pink full length skirt that was slit all the way up to her matching high-waisted underwear. Sex-ay! HollywoodLifers, are you disappointed we didn’t get more audience cutaways for reaction to performances at the Grammy’s?
