Oh my god, we still can’t get over how amazing Little Big Town’s Grammys performance on Feb. 15 was! The fantastic foursome totally slayed the stage with their hit, ‘Girl Crush’, and it was next-level. We have all the details, here.
Woo! We knew the Little Big Town performance at the Grammy Awards would be awesome, but we didn’t know HOW awesome! They totally killed it when Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook, and Phillip Sweet took the stage on Feb. 15, and we still have goosebumps! Here’s the scoop on the stellar performance.
That was seriously amazing! We could watch Little Big Town perform all day! The band came into the performance with two big awards already won. They took home Best Country Duo/Group and Best Country Song before the show even started, and their excitement really showed on stage. Plus, the band sounded great performing their amazing hit “Girl Crush.”
The usually upbeat song got an awesome makeover for the Grammys. Instead of poppy background music, they sang a raw, emotional version over a full orchestra, and it was totally beautiful. We loved how stripped down it was on a bare bones lighted stage, where they stood strong putting their amazing vocals on display.

Not to mention, the band looked amazing! Karen looks absolutely stunning in a jacket over a jeweled top and a ruffled skirt over leather pants – so cool. The lovely Kim was rocking a jacket with a super cool jewel encrusted lapel that made her look like an angel. The boys shows up to show out too! Jimi and Phillip looked great in their all-black suits.
The whole crew was so excited to be performing at the Grammys, they could barely contain themselves. “It’s our first time to actually be part of the show and perform so, thrill of a lifetime,” they said in a pre-awards show interview. And they really proved they deserved to be there. You go, guys!
