Adele just landed the March cover of ‘Vogue’ magazine, and she’s sporting a fresh-faced look for spring! The singer totally surprised us by ditching her signature cat eye makeup.
Hello, it’s Adele looking amazing on Vogue’s latest cover (are those jokes annoying yet?). The 27-year-old posed for famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, dressed in a floral Burberry design with the light springtime makeup to match.

We’re used to seeing Adele with the most perfect cat eye makeup to possibly ever exist, so we were a bit surprised to see that she opted for an almost completely bare eye makeup look. Wearing a bit of black mascara, a light sweep of neutral shadow and defined brows, Adele’s gorgeous blue-green eyes didn’t need any other makeup.
A pink cheek and matte pinky-nude lip completed her barely-there makeup look. In keeping with her light and breezy style, Adele’s blonde bob was styled in undone waves — a look which Adele told Vogue “needs to be perfectly in between ‘done’ and ‘not done.'”

Adele spoke a bit more about her beauty look to the mag as they accompanied her backstage as she got ready for a performance on the season finale of the X Factor. “It’s a real pleasure for like an hour,” Adele told Vogue about having her hair and makeup done. “Then your bum goes numb and your back starts to ache!”
While we can’t really say we know what it’s like to sit for professional hair and makeup regularly, we can relate to when Adele confessed that despite her many performances and photo shoots, she’ll never master applying false lashes on their own: “They’re so wonky that they look like the end of the night at the beginning of the night!”
What do you think of Adele’s cover look, HollywoodLifers? Do you miss her cat eye makeup as much as us?
