Ugh, not this guy again! Evil businessman Martin Shrkeli is trying to buy up the rights to Kanye West’s new album ‘The Life Of Pablo’ for $10 Million, and now his offer is actually delaying the music’s release! This is insane!
OUTRAGEOUS! Disgraced pharmaceuticals CEO Martin Shkreli, 32, is looking to purchase the full and exclusive rights to Kanye West‘s T.L.O.P. for a cool $10 million, and this is so messed up. It’s actually causing Yeezy’s album to be delayed for several days as a result, since Martin claims that legally Kanye and his label are required to take his offer letter to their board of directors and has actually bragged that his open offer will keep fans from accessing it. Read on for more about this awful situation.
Martin Shrkeli officially wins worst person in the world with his selfish and outlandish demand to purchase Yeezy’s album just to prevent fans from ever accessing his long-awaited new rhymes. He sent Kanye a letter that he posted online asking for sole rights to it and that “I believe you will find this financial arrangement more attractive than your current course of action.” WHAT?! As if Yeezy won’t make way more bank than $10 million off of his baby.
“Kanye and his label are legally required to take my offer letter to their Board of Directors. This should delay the album by a few days,” he actually bragged on his Twitter account, despite being bombarded with mass internet hate. While in his letter he claims to be a fan of Kanye’s, he selfishly wants to be the only one to hear all of his new songs as he claims he wants to keep the album all to himself.

Even though most of the album has already leaked, he claims that he’d still boldly stated in a Feb. 11 podcast that, “If I own the album, and there’s anyone circulating the album, I would sue them for 10 million and make hundreds of millions,” and for people who already have it downloaded, “I would basically sue everyone for having copies of the album.” Ugh, this guy is such a scumbag. He’s already under arrest for fraud, price-gouged lifesaving AIDS drug, and is currently holding the current Wu Tang Clan album hostage after purchasing the sole copy for $2 million. Now he’s keeping Yeezy’s music from his fans!
HollywoodLifers, do you think it’s right that someone can legally hold up Kanye’s album from being released?
