Kelly Clarkson, 33, can now add author to her long list of accomplishments. The American Idol alum took to Twitter on Feb. 9 to announce that she wrote her first children’s picture book and it stars her precious daughter,River Rose Blackstock, 1.
So, for the past three days Kelly has been releasing short videos and photos via social media that teased a big “new project”. Well, surprise — it’s her first children’s book and it stars her daughter, River. The multi-talented artist announced that her new picture book, “River Rose and the Magical Lullaby” is all about her daughter’s whirlwind adventures (yes, she is only one-year-old!). “When kids read RIVER ROSE AND THE MAGICAL LULLABY my hope is that it inspires their imagination and reminds them that they should always follow their dreams – no matter where they lead,” the singer states. River has been quite busy establishing her own career lately (she obviously takes after her mom). Her mom has been featuring adorable videos staring this little princess and we are so in love.
