It’s really happening. The main girls on ‘Fuller House’ headed on ‘Ellen’ on Feb. 9 to debut the first official trailer for the Netflix show — and we can not wait. Watch the full trailer here.
Is it Feb. 26 yet? Fuller House is about to debut on Netflix, and we still haven’t gotten a trailer yet — that is until now. Candace Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber headed on Ellen to promote the new show and well, debut the trailer. In it, we meet DJ’s kids, Andrea’s daughter, and see the moment DJ’s sister and BFF decided to move into her house to help out with her newborn. And yes, Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) is back with some very confident phrases.
“For the first time, we’re gonna be on all on our own,” DJ says to her new baby in the clip — and her family overhears her through the baby monitor. With that, Steph approaches her sis. “I’m clearing my schedule and I’m moving in with my sister. You need me right now.” And Kimmy chimed in, “You need me too!”
In the background, we hear Carly Rae Jepsen singing the new version of the original theme song — she sounds great!
Here’s the full description of the series:
“In Fuller House, the adventures that began in 1987 on Full House continue, with veterinarian D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure) recently widowed and living in San Francisco. D.J.’s younger sister/aspiring musician Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) and D.J.’s lifelong best friend/fellow single mother Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber), along with Kimmy’s feisty teenage daughter Ramona (Soni Nicole Bringas), all move in to help take care of D.J.’s three boys — the rebellious 12-year-old Jackson (Michael Champion), neurotic 7-year-old Max (Elias Harger) and her newborn baby, Tommy Jr (Messitt Twins).”
