Donald Trump took home his first big win in the 2016 presidential race on Feb. 9, and he couldn’t have been more thrilled when he addressed the crowd following his victory. Find out what he said about the win, here!
After losing the Iowa caucus to Ted Cruz, 45, Donald Trump, 69, couldn’t be happier to take home the victory in the first primary of the 2016 presidential race in New Hampshire on Feb. 9. He was absolutely giddy when he addressed a crowd of his supporters after the results came out and made the honest promise that he’ll be the “best jobs president God ever created.” How bold and confident! We have all the details on his victory speech, here.
“I am going to be the greatest jobs president that God ever created, you can believe that!” he promised during his acceptance speech, saying that issue is one that is getting people so energized. He promised that it was on to South Carolina to begin campaigning there for the nation’s next upcoming primary which he pledged to win.
Donald couldn’t be more thrilled to take home his first major win. And this is an important one, too. The New Hampshire primary is the first primary in the 2016 presidential race, and Donald won it by a landslide with 34% of the vote. So he was understandably excited when he addressed his swarm of supporters after learning the results.
“Believe me it’s going to be for many weeks,” Donald promised about coming out on top for the first time, telling the audience that he had confidence going in to the state’s primary, saying of its residents “I actually think they like me a lot, I have so many friends up there and they are special, special people,” before reminding the state’s voters that “You started it,” when it came to his first place finish.
Donald was expected to win the primary, and he performed as well as expected. The win was pretty prolific, he won fair and square across all races, genders and age groups. That’s pretty impressive. He was probably even more excited that his nemesis Ted only finished with 12% of the vote.
